WEEKEND SABOTAGE

I’ve had many people tell me that they’ve been in a calorie deficit and have been eating healthy, yet they still struggle to lose fat.

Although, after some careful scrutiny, I notice that these individuals are inconsistent with their diet as soon as the weekend strikes.

Just because you’ve been eating well throughout the week, does not excuse you from doing the same on the weekends.

Calories on the weekends still count! When you go out for drinks here and there, celebrate a superbowl win with some wings, and order an XL pizza combo Sunday night, the calories slowly but surely add up.

Now, does this mean you should stop going out to eat with your friends? Of course not! It just means that you need to be mindful of what you’re eating and try your best to adhere to your total daily calorie intake target. And remember that even if you go off track one day, it’s nothing to worry about; just get right back on track the following day.

Just keep in mind that in order to successfully lose fat, you will need to be consistent with your diet. So watch out for those sneaky weekend calories!
